Before the lockout ended, we mapped out the things the Packers need to do once business resumed. At the top of the list was the necessity of either keeping defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins or finding his replacement.

Initially, I inadvertently left Mike Neal out of the mix of possibilities. Fate has now potentially done the same thing.

Neal has suffered a knee injury, about which coach Mike McCarthy was circumspect when meeting with the media, according to Mike Vandermause of PackersNews.com.

McCarthy said that doctors are still evaluating the knee, and that more will be known tomorrow.

UPDATE: Neal tells Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel that the knee has full range of motion and that there are no torn ligaments. Neal will still undergo an MRI.
