According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Patriots re-signed punter Ryan Allen.
Allen has been their punter since 2013, and was a player they wanted to keep.
Mike Reiss of ESPN.com noted that Allen recently changed agents, and the five-day delay might explain the lag before he returned.
