Reports emerged on Monday that cornerback Leigh Bodden had re-signed with the Patriots.
Not so fast, his agent said.
Today, Jason La Canfora of NFL.com reports that the deal is done -- and La Canfora has the numbers.
Per La Canfora, it’s a five-year, $28.5 million contract, with $10 million guaranteed.
Bodden signed a one-year deal with the Pats in 2009, after being cut by the Lions. The Patriots had offered a multi-year contract at the time, but Bodden opted to do a shorter deal and to hit the market in the uncapped year.
Bodden visited the Texans before opting to remain with the Patriots.
