The NFL has a habit of sending bad games to London. That habit will continue next year.
Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the Browns will play a game in England next season. It’s unknown at this point whether the Browns will be giving up a home game or playing as the visiting team.
The NFL will announce the four London games for next season on Tuesday. The Dolphins and Saints will play in one of the games, and the Jaguars will host another one.
Depending on when the Browns play in London, they could be approaching the post-merger record for consecutive losses. An 0-16 finish will move the Browns to 19 straight losses, seven behind the 1976-77 Buccaneers.
