Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain won’t be going anywhere.
McClain, who was set to become a free agent today, has agreed to a contract to stay in Dallas. It’s a one-year, $5 million contract, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
McClain has been a starter for most of the last two years in Dallas. When he’s healthy and completely committed to football, he’s a good player, although he has had multiple concerning off-field incidents, and last year he was suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.
Our Free Agent Hot 100 had McClain as the No. 94 overall free agent in the NFL.
