At a time when Falcons owner Arthur Blank will be paying roughly $500 million more than he thought he’d for a new home for his football team, Blank possibly has lost items worth far less than that.
Via Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com, Atlanta police are investigating the possible theft of multiple iPads and Rolex watches from Blank’s residence.
The report of the suspected theft came from Blank’s house manager, Debra Fay Copeland. She told police that three iPads and two Rolex watches may have been removed from the home.
The iPads have an estimated value of $2,500 each. The watches are believed to be worth between $56,000 and $120,000 each.
Copeland told police it’s possible Blank is traveling with the watches. Which raises a fairly obvious question: Why not call Blank and ask him instead of calling the police?
