With the draft in the books and the rookie minicamps wrapped up, it was time to revisit PFT’s 2015 All-Unemployed Team.
Ten new players have been placed on the team, most notably ex-Raiders wide receiver James Jones, who caught 73 passes in 2014. Should a club need to bolster its receiving corps, he’s the top option, though he does not bring as much playmaking ability as he did earlier in his career.
Jones isn’t the only ex-Raider added to the squad. Cornerback Chimdi Chekwa, waived by New England on Monday, is another new name. Just 26 years old, Chekwa could appeal to teams wanting to add some experienced depth in the secondary.
To find the other eight new members of the All-Unemployed Team, look for the italicized names in the text. As you’ll see, some positions have experienced some turn over, while others have been stagnant.
