The Colts’ first lead of the year didn’t last long, and it’s unclear when they might get another one.
A porous defense allowed the Titans to grab a lead in the third quarter with a shabby display of tackling and organization, and then Andrew Luck handed another one to Tennessee.
Luck’s sixth interception of the season led directly to a Marcus Mariota touchdown pass to Dorial Green-Beckham, and the Titans have a 24-14 lead over the winless Colts.
At the moment, the Titans have outgunned Indy 319-153, as the problems are multiple for the Colts.
They’re having protection issues, which Luck should be accustomed to. But they’re also failing to get sufficient pressure on Mariota, which might be the bigger issue at the moment.
