The uniforms are ugly and so is the offense tonight in Jacksonville.
As the NFL continues its “Color Rush” uniform campaign in tonights Titans-Jaguars game, both teams’ offenses have played poorly in the first half.
Neither team can sniff the end zone, so it’s been an exchange of field goals in the first half: The Titans went up 3-0, the Jaguars made it 3-3, the Titans went up 6-3 and then the Jaguars tied it at 6-6 just before halftime.
Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota is 10-for-17 for 129 yards, while Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles is 10-for-15 for 125 yards. Bortles lost a fumble while trying to pick up a first down on a quarterback sneak.
Perhaps one of these young quarterbacks will get hot in the second half. If not, most of the viewing audience may decide this game isn’t worth watching to the end.
