Those Wrangler commercials featuring Brett Favre throwing interceptions in sandlot football games (hey, at least the ads are realistic) have gotten more notice in the days after alleged photos of Brett Favre without Wrangler jeans -- or any other pants -- ended up on the Internet.
The folks from Wrangler, who have been almost as quiet as Favre regarding the situation, finally have addressed the matter.
“We are following the story like everyone else,” Wrangler spokesman Rick French told USA Today. “At this point, we are not making any major decisions on our marketing program until more information is available to us.”
In other words, if Favre did what he allegedly did, he’s done with Wrangler.
In the interim, Wrangler has gotten more attention than ever.
