Florida State senior DT Marvin Wilson has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery to address an undisclosed injury.
Wilson (6'5/305) is an important on-field leader for the Seminoles, and losing him for the season is really bad news. The senior defensive tackle did not play in Saturday’s loss to Pittsburgh, and for the season he tallied 17 total tackles, one sack, two tackles for loss, two quarterback hurries and three blocked kicks. Dennis Briggs and Robert Cooper started at the defensive tackle spots against Pittsburgh, and those two along with Fabian Lovett will receive the majority of the available reps moving forward.
