McCoy, who caught 18 passes in ten games as a 2005 rookie under Dennis Green, won’t make the roster at this rate. Steve Breaston has a better chance.

Sean Morey seems like a logical fit to make the club because he’s an excellent special teams player and Steve Breaston’s skills as a return man help his stock. Todd Watkins and Micheal Spurlock could get cut.

Bryant Johnson has missed two days of workouts with a sore hamstring.

He’s somewhat surprisingly been spelled by special teamer Sean Morey as the Cards’ third receiver in the meantime. Johnson, entering a contract year, isn’t in danger of losing his job but could use the reps in the new offense.
