Vikings completed the second round of interviews for their general manager vacancy.
The list of finalists includes Vikings executive vice president of football operations and interim general manager Rob Brzezinski, Broncos assistant general manager Reed Burckhardt, Bills assistant general manager Terrance Gray, Rams assistant general manager John McKay and Seahawks assistant general manager Nolan Teasley. Per The Athletic’s Alec Lewis, it “remains unclear whether or not ownership wants to do more due diligence, most have expected a resolution late May/early June.”

The Vikings will interview five finalists for the general manager vacancy next week.
The Vikings have already conducted interviews with 10 candidates virtually. The five finalists are Rams assistant general manager John McKay, Broncos assistant general manager Reed Burckhardt, Bills assistant general manager Terrance Gray, Seahawks assistant general manager Nolan Teasley and Vikings executive vice president of football operations and interim general manager Rob Brzezinski. Vikings owner and president Mark Wilf previously indicated that the team plans to employ the front office structure as they have in the past, though The Athletic’s Alec Lewis highlights a reader’s question about whether the Vikings might keep Brzezinski in a managerial role and also hire a “personnel guy” under him to help with roster decisions. If so, it seems plausible that some candidates might prefer to wait until they have a chance to run an organization their own way.
  • SF Front Office
Vikings requested an interview with 49ers assistant general manager RJ Gillen for their general manager vacancy.
The team has also requested interviews with Titans assistant general manager Dave Ziegler and Bills assistant general manager Terrance Gray. Gillen joined the 49ers as a scouting assistant in 2015. He worked his way up the corporate ladder and was eventually promoted to his current role last offseason.
  • BUF Front Office
Vikings requested an interview with Bills assistant general manager Terrance Gray for the team’s general manager vacancy.
It’s a bit of a surprise the Vikings have left their GM spot open after firing former GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah in late January. Gray has been a popular name in GM searches over the past couple offseasons. He landed an interviews for the Jaguars and Titans open general manager positions in February 2025. Gray, who’s been with the Bills since 2017, would take over a front office charged with figuring out how to navigate the team’s disastrous JJ McCarthy draft pick and keeping together a defensive core that has performed well over the past two seasons.
  • BUF Front Office
Jaguars will interview Bills director of player personnel Terrance Gray for the team’s general manager vacancy.
Jacksonville will look to fill its GM opening in the coming days, interviewing Gray along with 49ers director of scouting and football operations Josh Williams. Gray has functioned in his current role for three years and has been with Buffalo since 2017. Last month he interviewed for the Titans general manager vacancy.
  • BUF Front Office
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports Bills director of player personnel Terrance Gray will meet with the Titans for a second interview for their general manager vacancy.
Gray has served in his current role for three seasons and has worked eight seasons with the Bills overall. Gray arrived on the scene a year before the Bills drafted Josh Allen in 2018 and has been present for each of the team’s double-digit win seasons over the last six years. He’s one of several candidates to be granted second interview for the Titans’ general manager vacancy.
