    Vikings waived WR Silas Bolden.
Even with the Vikings in need of receiving bodies, Bolden didn’t do enough in camp to justify a roster spot. The Vikings also waived CB Reddy Steward, CB Keenan Garber, RB Tre Stewart, S Mishael Powell, T Logan Brown, OL Zach Bailey, WR Robert Lewis and DL Travis Bell to go along with the previously announced releases of QB Brett Rypien and OLB Cam Gill.
  • ATL Defensive Tackle #73
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports The Falcons are signing DT Travis Bell off of the Bears’ practice squad.
Bell was selected by the Bears in seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft, out of Kennesaw State. He will join the Falcons’ 53-man roster now, in an attempt to add defensive line depth following Grady Jarrett’s ACL injury.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #95
Bears selected Kennesaw State DT Travis Bell with the No. 218 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Bell (6'/310) has been a fixture of the Kennesaw State defense ever since taking on a starting role as a true freshman in 2018. Primarily a run-stopper, he projects to play a similar role at the next level if he can find a spot on the Bears’ roster. NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein noted his lateral quickness and upper-body strength. Bell will need to refine his game in camp, but will get a shot to crack the Bears’ 53-man roster this summer.
