Oregon State redshirt junior WR Tyjon Lindsey posted five receptions for a career-high 102 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s 45-27 win at USC.
Lindsey (5'9/170) had his first two-touchdown performance since Dec. 12, 2020 against Stanford. That game was Lindsey’s previous career best in yardage, too, with three grabs for 62 yards. He really jelled nicely with QB Chance Nolan, and it will be interesting to see if they can continue to build rapport. Next up is a visit from Washington on Saturday.

Oregon State redshirt junior WR Tyjon Lindsey will play this Saturday against Idaho.
Lindsey (5'9"/170) had four catches for 42 yards and a pair of rushes for 10 yards with a touchdown against Purdue. He sat out last week after suffering an ankle injury. Head coach Jonathan Smith wants to get him more involved in the offense with his incredible speed. The Beaver will host Idaho this Saturday.

Oregon State redshirt junior WR Tyjon Lindsey caught three passes for 62 yards with two touchdowns on Saturday in a 27-24 loss to Stanford.
After not scoring at all in the previous five games, Lindsey (5'9/182) was able to reach paydirt twice on Saturday against the Cardinal. He opened the scoring with an 18-yard touchdown snag from a Chance Nolan pass, and the two connected on a 30-yarder for six in the third. A transfer from Nebraska, Lindsey should be more involved for the Beavers in 2021.

Oregon State redshirt sophomore WR Tyjon Lindsey (leg) is expected to play in Saturday’s game against Stanford.
Lindsey (5'9/193) has not played in either of Oregon State’s games since the opener. He made eight catches for 35 yards and a touchdown in said opener (against Oklahoma State). Isaiah Hodgins and Trevon Bradford are the two big doggies in OSU’s receiving corp, but Lindsey’s return will give QB Jake Luton a full complement of options as the Beavers look to pull off an upset on Saturday.

Oregon State redshirt sophomore Tyjon Lindsey returned to practice on Sunday after being held out for the last couple of weeks with an apparent leg injury.
It looks like Oregon State is getting another skill player back this week. Lindsey, a 5-foot-9 and 193-pound transfer from Nebraska, should be ready to go against Stanford on Sept. 28 barring a setback, notes Nick Daschel of The Oregonian. Lindsey appeared in just two games this season, but caught eight passes for 35 yards and a touchdown in the season opener against Oklahoma State.

Sophomore WR Tyjon Lindsey, who announced his departure from the Nebraska program Wednesday, has transferred to Oregon State.
Lindsey (5'9/200), a four-star recruit who was considered to be one of the top wide receivers in the Class of 2017, will have three years of eligibility remaining beginning with the 2019 season. The sophomore, who committed to Nebraska when Mike Riley was the head coach, is the third Nebraska player to transfer to Oregon State in the past month.

Nebraska sophomore WR Tyjon Lindsey will transfer.
Lindsey joins the handful of players taking advantage of the NCAA’s new redshirt rule. His announcement was delayed a week because Nebraska’s cancellation against Akron pushed their fourth game played to a week later. As such, he’ll redshirt in 2018 and have three years of eligibility to use beginning next season. Lindsey will be an attractive asset on the transfer market. The four-star recruit was rated as the No. 7 receiver in the country in 2017.

Ohio State received a verbal commitment from five-star 2017 WR Tyjon Lindsey.
If you read the tea leaves, this was a relatively easy commitment to see building. Lindsey recently called his unofficial visit to Ohio State “perfect” due to his comfort level on campus. And five-star QB Tate Martell -- a former teammate -- is already committed to the Buckeye cause, giving them something of a natural edge for the 5-foot-9, 175-pounder’s pledge. Lindsey ranks as Rivals’ No. 29 overall prospect for the 2017 cycle. The Buckeyes also earned a commitment from fellow five-star WR Trevon Grimes on Monday, making this a banner day for HC Urban Meyer’s now-monstrous 2017 recruiting class.

Uncommitted five-star 2017 WR Tyjon Lindsey said that his unofficial visit to Ohio State last weekend was “perfect.”
Ohio State impressed the 5-foot-9, 175-pounder during his camp visit, leading him to say that he “felt at home” with the Buckeyes. Recruits are somewhat naturally prone to gushing coming off of any visit -- rare is the player who says “it just didn’t do much for me” -- but Ohio State should be considered a legitimate threat for Lindsey’s commitment. A prime factor here is the prior commitment of five-star QB Tate Martell. Lindsey and Martell are tight friends, to the point where the former stayed with the latter’s family in Las Vegas back when he attended Las Vegas Bishop Gorman. Nebraska is another strong contender, here, as Lindsey has built up a relationship with WR coach Keith Williams.

Five-star 2017 WR Tyjon Lindsey was named the wide receiver MVP of the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge.
"[Lindsey] scored three touchdowns, including the game-winner in the championship for Team Armour,” wrote Rivals recruiting analyst Jeff Helmholdt. “The 5-foot-9, 175-pounder’s most impressive touchdowns came earlier in the day with runs after catch that displayed his explosiveness and creativity.” The Corona, California, native announced earlier in the week that he will be making his commitment on August 22. Auburn, Nebraska, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee, USC, Oregon and Alabama will all be in the running for that commitment.
