The fourth-rounder from Indiana surpassed holdover Brandon Green. He may start this weekend if Leonard Little (leg) isn’t able to go.

Little will see a specialist about his torn toe ligament during the Rams’ Week 9 bye, and get a better idea of whether he’ll be able to play later this season then. Second-year run stopper Victor Adeyanju will start in his place.

Little will undergo toe surgery Wednesday and faces a four-to-six month recovery period. The 33-year-old pass rusher signed an extension through 2009 in November of last year and will return to his left end post next season. Victor Adeyanju, who’s mostly a run stopper, will finish out the year starting.

Adeyanju will return as the run-stopping backup behind Chris Long and Leonard Little.

Marc Bulger is active, but will serve as backup quarterback to Kyle Boller. The Rams are fairly banged up heading into their matchup with Minnesota.

A run-stopping reserve, Adeyanju produced zero sacks despite playing a lot with Leonard Little injured last year. He isn’t a threat to start this season.

They’re probably still going to lose against the Bills on Sunday, but coach Scott Linehan is pulling out all the stops in his bid to save his job.
