Colts signed LB Austin Ajiake to a one-year contract extension.
An exclusive rights free agent, Ajiake had 32 tackles and played 70 percent of the Colts special teams snaps this year. He also saw some sparse time at linebacker, with 157 defensive snaps over 16 games. The Colts also agreed to terms with RB Ulysses Bentley IV, CB Wyett Ekeler, DE Viliami Fehoko Jr., G LaDarius Henderson, QB Seth Henigan, T Bayron Matos, C Jimmy Morrissey, TE Sean McKeon, S Trey Washington, WR Coleman Owen, DT Tim Smith, G Bill Murray, DE Durell Nchami, S Ben Nikkel, WR Eli Pancol and G Josh Sills on reserve/future contracts.

  • IND Defensive End #61
Cowboys selected San Jose State EDGE Viliami Fehoko with the No. 129 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Fehoko (6’4/276) entered SJSU as a tight end before converting to the defensive line shortly after arriving on campus. It was a prescient decision as Fehoko went on to dominate the Mountain West Conference by recording three straight First Team All-MWC campaigns with 44 TFL, 22 sacks, and a superb 90.9 PFF overall defensive grade, making him the third highest graded edge rusher in the country last year. The 2022 Second Team All-American ran a very respectable 4.77s 40-yard dash (76th%) but his 4.73s shuttle (14th%) and 8’04” broad jump (4th%) contribute to a pedestrian 5.36 RAS. An MMA-level hand-fighter, Fehoko’s swipes, chops, and rips free him up to cause havoc in the backfield. He is relentless in pursuit and constantly working to get off blocks even when he’s physically overmatched due to his average athleticism. Likely he doesn’t have the brute strength required to survive at three-tech, but Fehoko has enough talent and savvy to play as a sub-package defensive end. The Dallas pass rush was graded by PFF as 2022’s second best, trailing only the Eagles.
