The U.S. Gymnastics Championships, headlined by Simone Biles’ pursuit of a record-breaking fifth national all-around title, airs live on NBC Sports and Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA this week.

All network coverage will also stream on NBCSports.com/live and the NBC Sports app for subscribers.

The nation’s best gymnasts gather in Boston for four total days of senior competition, starting Thursday with the first men’s day. The favorites include two-time Olympian Sam Mikulak and defending U.S. champion Yul Moldauer.

On Friday, Biles begins the second meet of her comeback after two years off, looking to break her tie for most U.S. women’s all-around titles. She is undefeated in senior national all-around competitions and hasn’t lost an all-around anywhere in more than five years.

Biles extended that streak two weeks ago by winning her first meet since the Rio Games with the world’s highest all-around score since the 2016 Olympics. She managed that despite falling off the uneven bars.

Scores will accumulate over two days -- eight total routines -- to crown national champions. Biles’ challengers include 2017 World all-around champion Morgan Hurd and 2017 U.S. all-around champion Ragan Smith.

After nationals, the top U.S. men and women will perform in fall selection camps to finalize the rosters (five men, five women) for the world championships in Doha in October.
