Heather McPhie of U.S. reaches women’s moguls final

Team USA’s Heather McPhie’s score of 18.85 (62.83%) in this morning’s second round of women’s moguls qualifying was enough to put her in the field for the afternoon final.

Needing to be among the Top 10 in order to advance, McPhie wound up with the sixth-highest score. Russia’s Ekaterina Stolyarova had the highest “Qualifying 2" score of 21.32 (71.06%), giving the home crowd at Rosa Khutor a thrill ahead of the final later on.
