The world’s most famous footballer couldn’t attend the Opening Ceremony, nor light the Olympic cauldron due to health, but Pele is hoping to make the Closing Ceremony in his home country of Brazil.

Pele, 75, took to Twitter over the past 24 hours to make a few points.

He’s loving the Olympics in Rio, and thinks its showing the country in a positive light. The three-time World Cup champion and FIFA Player of the Century -- the 20th, in case you were curious -- is also encouraged by Neymar and the Brazil men’s team rebounding from twin scoreless ties to rip Denmark 4-0 on Wednesday.
