Mikaela Shiffrin enters the second run of the women’s giant slalom in fifth place. She has a chance for a medal, but it won’t be easy, as the conditions and competitors could provide quite the challenge.

She’ll have her work cut out for her. The skiers ahead of her include: Slovenia’s Tina Maze, Sweden’s Jessica Lindell-Vikarby, Italy’s Nadia Fanchini and Austria’s Anna Fenninger.
