Switzerland hopes to become the fifth nation to win a medal in women’s ice hockey on Thursday as they face Sweden in the bronze medal game at 7 a.m. ET:

Here’s the all-time medal count in women’s ice hockey:

Canada: four medals (three golds, one silver)

U.S.: four medals (one gold, two silvers, one bronze)

Sweden: two medals (one silver, one bronze)

Finland: two medals (both bronze)

As you can see, Sweden could finish with the third highest number of women’s Olympic medals in ice hockey if they win. This game is a battle of the best of the rest as the U.S. and Canada continue to distinguish themselves as the clear leaders of this sport.
