Zhang Jike owns two Olympic gold medals but could still use some work on his celebrating.

The Chinese table tennis champion kicked through an advertising board after winning World Cup gold in Germany on Sunday. His punishment? Forfeiting his entire $45,000 winner’s check.

Zhang later apologized. He had fallen to No. 4 in the world since sweeping Olympic singles and team titles in London.

“It was not acceptable behavior,” he said, according to the International Table Tennis Federation. “This was a perfect victory, I have been under a great deal of pressure, with people questioning my form.”
