According to Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com, the Yankees have agreed to sign Cuban left-hander Omar Luis Rodriguez to a minor league deal worth an estimated $4-5 million.
Rodriguez, a hard-throwing 19-year-old, was declared a free agent earlier this month. The Yankees were able to get the deal done before the new international spending cap goes into effect on July 2.
