Rockies agreed to terms with supplemental first-round pick RHP Peter Tago.
He signed for a $982,500 bonus, well over the recommended slot of $739,800. Tago, 18, was selected with the No. 47 pick in June’s draft. He needs to fill out his arsenal, but the young right-hander possesses a fastball that touches the mid-90s.
