Caroline Pineda serves as the sideline reporter for Notre Dame Football as well as NBC Sports’ coverage of Big Ten Football, Major League Baseball, the WNBA, and college basketball.
Pineda joined NBC Sports in 2022 and was named the sideline reporter for Notre Dame Football ahead of the 2026 season, having previously worked numerous events in South Bend including the annual Blue-Gold Game and Pro Day. A 2022 graduate of Notre Dame, Pineda began working for NBC Sports as a student there, serving as Kathryn Tappen’s sideline assistant at Fighting Irish football games.
Since then, Pineda has expanded her work as a reporter for NBC Sports’ coverage of Big Ten Football, the WNBA, college basketball -- including the 2026 BIG EAST Men’s and Women’s Tournaments -- and Major League Baseball. She is also a four-time Emmy award-winning associate producer for her work on Sunday Night Football as well as the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Pineda was the 2022 recipient of the Jim Nantz Award, presented annually to the country’s most outstanding collegiate sports broadcaster. Before NBC Sports, she had written for the Associated Press, The Washington Post, and was a student broadcaster for Fighting Irish Media.
