Yogi Roth joined NBC Sports’ college football coverage in 2025 and returns in 2026 as an analyst across a full slate of Big Ten Football games. A former University of Pittsburgh wide receiver and USC coach, Roth has served as an analyst for NBC Sports, Big Ten Network, Pac-12 Network, ESPN, and FOX.
Beyond broadcasting, Roth is an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, author, and host of the Y-Option podcast. He co-authored the New York Times bestseller Win Forever with Super Bowl and National Championship-winning football coach Pete Carroll and has produced and hosted numerous documentary and storytelling projects, including The Drive, All American Stories, and NBC’s Fixing Us.
Roth is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and earned a master’s degree in communication management from USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
