    Rams waived RB Raymond Calais.
The Rams also waived UDFA safety Paris Ford. Calais suffered a fracture in his foot during the team’s second preseason game. He’s expected to be out 4-6 months so the team reached an injury settlement with him. Calais was primarily used on special teams when active but could have served as a depth option at running back with how thin the Rams’ are at that position. Xavier Jones, Jake Funk, and Otis Anderson are the remaining backups to Darrell Henderson.

Rams KR Raymond Calais (ankle) will undergo surgery this week.
Calais made four appearances as a rookie kick returner last year. It’s likely a season ending injury for Calais, who went down in the second preseason game. The Rams would need to carry Calais on their opening day roster for him to return this year.

Rams declared RB Raymond Calais, WR Trishton Jackson, TE Brycen Hopkins, C Brian Allen, and LB Terrell Lewis inactive for Week 13 against the Cardinals.
    No surprises here.

Rams declared RB Raymond Calais, OLB Terrell Lewis, C Brian Allen, WR Trishton Jackson, and DE Derek Rivers inactive for Week 12 against the 49ers.
No surprises here. Tyler Higbee is officially a go and will likely be asked to block more sans LT Andrew Whitworth just as the former was asked to do most recently in Week 11.

Rams declared RB Raymond Calais, C Brian Allen, WR Trishtan Jackson, and TE Brycen Hopkins inactive for Week 11 against the Bucs.
No surprises here, as the Rams had no notable skill players deemed questionable.

Rams signed RB Raymond Calais, formerly of the Bucs.
The Rams swept in and signed Calais after the rookie was waived by Tampa on Friday. A change-of-pace back, Calais joins a Rams running back group that includes Cam Akers, Malcolm Brown, Xavier Jones, and an injured Darrell Henderson. Calais’ signing may be a sign that Henderson’s supposedly mild hamstring strain is more serious than first thought.

    Buccaneers waived RB Raymond Calais.
It’s the last of Tampa Bay’s house cleaning after inking Leonard Fournette and LeSean McCoy over the summer. Calais, however, does offer special teams value and was extended a practice squad invite assuming he clears waivers. The Bucs will enter the season with Ronald Jones, Ke’Shawn Vaughn, McCoy, and Fournette in their backfield.

T.J. Logan will undergo surgery for a patellar tendon injury.
The Athletic’s Greg Auman suggests it’s “not necessarily season-ending.” It’s a tough break for a 25-year-old kick returner in a contract year. A torn patellar tendon for Logan would put his career in doubt.

Bucs selected Louisiana RB Raymond Calais with the No. 245 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Calais (5'8/188) is the second running back the Bucs have added to their thin backfield this weekend. A pure COP back, Calais will need to be sprung into space to have success at the NFL level. He has the requisite speed (4.42) to chew up yards once in the open field. Lightly used in the passing game in college, Calais will have to improve in that area to have any real chance at making it as a 5-foot-8, 188 pound running back.
