Glasgow

Glasgow has suffered a torn ACL twice since joining the team in 2017. He played in 24 games for the Bengals.

The No. 138 overall pick of the 2017 draft was limited to three games last season. “Everything is really good,” Glasgow said. “I’m just getting more comfortable with it, running and cutting. I’m doing d-line drills and stuff like that.” A run stopper, Glasgow’s athleticism was already a question mark before he tore up his knee.

He will be placed on injured reserve this week. The fourth-round sophomore had been working as a rotational lineman before going down.

Glasgow (6’3/302) made 33 starts on the Wolverines’ defensive line, tallying 18.5 career tackles for loss, five sacks, and two forced fumbles. The brother of Lions G/C Graham Glasgow, Ryan earned second-team All-Big Ten honors in 2016. Glasgow was exposed as a sub-par athlete in Indy, running 5.13 and managing a seventh-percentile SPARQ score. A stout college run defender with limited pass-rush traits, Glasgow is a low-ceiling prospect who will have to get by on fundamentals and motor. He would do well to become a useful No. 3 defensive tackle.

A run-stopping prospect, Glasgow is a limited athlete by NFL standards. He was drafted to play the role of a rotational lineman, and is unlikely to achieve more.
