Astros acquired minor leaguers C Scott Manea, OF Ross Adolph and 2B Luis Santana from the Mets in exchange for infielder J.D. Davis and minor league infielder Cody Bohanek.
Manea is a 23-year-old catcher who began showing a little bit of promise with the bat in 2018. He slashed .261/.368/.432 with 12 home runs and 53 RBI in 100 games. He was selected in the 40th and final round of the 2014 draft.
