In his first career MLB start, Seth Frankoff went 4 2/3 innings while giving up three runs off two hits on Saturday night against the Nationals in a no-decision.
This was also Frankoff’s first appearance for the Diamondbacks. His first two innings were disorganized, but the 32-year-old eventually settled down, inducing nine swings-and-misses. He came one out short of qualifying for a win. Frankoff will get another chance to pitch against the Dodgers next week.
