    Redskins signed RB Shaun Wilson.
To clear a roster spot, the Redskins waived OT Brian Wallace with a non-football injury designation. Wilson spent last season with Tampa Bay, primarily playing on special teams. That will again be his surest path to playing time in Washington, though it’s equally plausible that the Redskins—who already have a full complement of backfield weapons—merely see him as a camp body.

    Buccaneers waived RB Shaun Wilson.
Undrafted out of Duke, Wilson logged 22 offensive snaps as a rookie while also seeing time on special teams. The 23-year-old sat out the team’s’ recent minicamp with an undisclosed injury. With Wilson’s time in Tampa coming to an end, the Bucs will move forward with a backfield consisting of Peyton Barber, Ronald Jones and Andre Ellington.

Bucs declared RB Shaun Wilson, DT Gerald McCoy, DE Vinny Curry, QB Ryan Griffin, DE Demone Harris, OL Michael Liedtke, and OL Alex Cappa inactive for Week 8 against the Bengals.
No surprises in this group. Tampa Bay remains severely shorthanded on defense.

Bucs declared RB Shaun Wilson, DT Beau Allen, G Alex Cappa, QB Ryan Griffin, OL Michael Liedtke, DE Noah Spence, and S Jordan Whitehead inactive for Week 4 against the Bears.
Rookie second-round RB Ronald Jones will replace Wilson (healthy scratch) in his first regular season game action of the year. Incumbent starter Peyton Barber has mustered just 124 yards on 43 carries (2.8 YPC) this season and will likely now be thrusted into an underwhelming timeshare. With third-stringer Ryan Griffin inactive, the Bucs have no choice but to turn to Jameis Winston if Ryan Fitzpatrick struggles early against the Bears’ terrifying pass rush.

Bucs coach Dirk Koetter said undrafted rookie RB Shaun Wilson has stood out during training camp.
A diminutive (5-foot-8, 185 pounds) runner out of Duke, Wilson has drawn buzz from reporters so far in camp, and his coach has noticed as well. It is still tough to imagine him cracking the final roster, but nothing is set in stone behind Ronald Jones on the depth chart.
