Fate has smiled upon Jose Mourinho and Chelsea ahead of this week’s home visit to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League’s Round of 16.

Not only will PSG have to contend with the fallout from giving up a 2-0, 88th-minute home lead to Caen, but the mighty French club will have to play the Blues without four newly-injured players.

Marquinhos, Serge Aurier, Yohan Cabaye and Lucas Moura all left the Caen match with injuries, and manager Laurent Blanc claims all will be out of Tuesday’s match versus Chelsea.

Additionally, midfielder Blaise Matuidi is uncertain for the first leg.

A big part of PSG’s blown lead was that two of the injuries came after it had used all three substitutions. PSG finished with nine men on the pitch.
