Troy Deeney’s wait for a Premier League goal is over, as is Stoke City’s winning streak.
Deeney struck for Watford, and Almen Abdi also netted as the Hornets won 2-0 at Britannia Stadium on Saturday.
Stoke entered the game winners of three-straight, but now sink a point below Watford to 14th.

Watford had an early chance through Troy Deeney, who did too much thinking and not enough shooting as he was caught by Glen Johnson.
USMNT back Geoff Cameron left the game with a leg injury in the ninth minute.
And Deeney finally broke through for his first Premier League goal, as the Watford captain lunged to hit a curling goal side panel in the 43rd minute.
Abdi doubled the Hornets’ lead when he belted an offering from Odion Ighalo past Jack Butland.
