The United States was dreadful on Tuesday against Brazil.

We can thank Brazil goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe a bit for the goal, but it’s mostly the rocket-powered foot of Danny Williams that lifted the spirits of the U.S. faithful, at least for a moment.

After Tim Ream squared the ball for Williams, Brazil’s defense apparently figured, “Why mark when the game’s over?”

Then Williams did this. Gorgeous.
