    Saints waived WR Titus Ryan.
Ryan was a mere spring body who played college ball at Concordia.
  • FA Wide Receiver #86
Cowboys signed WR Titus Ryan to a reserve/future contract.
Ryan, a 26-year-old former undrafted free agent out of Concordia, had a 104-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the CFL this past season. He isn’t a receiver prospect, but gives Dallas a camp body for special teams.

Dez Bryant, Patrick Crayton and Titus Ryan were the primary punt returners at Cowboys practice on Sunday.
Bryant is fully expected to be the main punt returner this year, but that will only hurt his re-draft value in standard formats. Bryant could be eased in to a major receiving role while Roy Williams hangs on for dear life. Look for Bryant to be a fantasy asset in the second half of the year.
  • FA Wide Receiver #86
Cowboys KR Titus Ryan suffered a fractured left thumb in the first half of Sunday’s Hall of Fame game against the Bengals.
He won’t make the team if he misses any time. Ryan has speed to burn, but looked too skittish Sunday night while serving as Dallas’ first-team kickoff and punt return specialist. Dez Bryant will take over before Opening Day.
  • FA Wide Receiver #86
    Cowboys waived/injured WR/KR Titus Ryan.
Ryan opened the preseason as Dallas’ primary returner, but the speedster was never going to keep that job with Dez Bryant (ankle) due back by the opener. A fractured thumb in the Hall of Fame game sealed Ryan’s fate.
  • FA Wide Receiver #86
Cowboys waived WR Titus Ryan and signed WR Curtis Clay.
Clay is an undrafted rookie from TCU. Ryan, 27, is a former member of the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders. He never had a realistic shot to make the club.
