Free agent WR Travis Rudolph worked out for the Broncos last week.
It was his first workout for a team since tearing his ACL last October. He went home without a contract and is not guaranteed to get signed this offseason. If he does, Rudolph is likely destined for the practice squad.

Giants signed Florida State WR Travis Rudolph.
Rudolph (6’0/189) arrived at FSU as a ballyhooed five-star recruit and started all three years, tallying a career 153-2,311-18 (15.1 YPR) receiving line and earning second-team All-ACC as a 2016 junior before turning pro. Rudolph proceeded to turn in a putrid Combine workout, running 4.65 and testing as a third-percentile athlete. Rudolph is a plus route runner and catches the ball cleanly with his hands, but he lacks standout traits and looked like just another guy in the ACC. He’s a small, low-ceiling possession-receiver prospect.

    Giants waived WR Travis Rudolph.
A slow, backup slot receiver, Rudolph could resurface on the practice squad.
  • FA Wide Receiver #18
Giants promoted WR Travis Rudolph from their practice squad.
It is a no-brainer decision after New York lost four receivers to injury on Sunday. Rudolph could see some targets opposite Roger Lewis, but he will not be a realistic fantasy option with the Broncos and Seahawks next up on the schedule before the bye. An UDFA rookie out of Florida State, Rudolph caught nine passes for 157 yards in the preseason.
  • FA Wide Receiver #18
Travis Rudolph hauled in 1-of-4 targets for 29 yards in the Giants’ Week 17 win over the Redskins.
Signed as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State, Rudolph spent the early part of his rookie season on the practice squad before being promoted in the wake of Odell Beckham’s and Brandon Marshall’s season-ending injuries. Even in a receiver corps plagued by injuries, Rudolph only garnered 21 targets all season. He turned those looks into eight catches for 101 yards. Rudolph will almost certainly be brought back as an ERFA, but he is far from a lock to crack the 53-man roster out of camp.
  • FA Wide Receiver #18
Travis Rudolph hauled in 3-of-6 targets for 34 yards in the Giants Week 11 win over the Chiefs.
Rudolph was promoted from the practice squad earlier this year, but this was his first game with a sizeable impact. Manning targeted him deep multiple times, barely missing him. Leading the team in targets is noticeable but with Sterling Shepard returning Rudolph likely won’t be fantasy viable.
