Eagles selected Nebraska DT Ty Robinson with the No. 111 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Robinson (6’5/288) is a Nebraska program guy through-and-through, having spent six years on the Cornhuskers’ defensive line. He lined up all over the formation from the A-gap through the edge, with the majority of his reps coming at three tech. Robinson failed to make an impression on NFL teams during his first five years on campus, with his highest defensive grade being a 59th percentile mark for his performance in 2022. He made the most of his sixth year, accruing 42 pressures with 12.5 TFLs and 7.0 sacks en route to earning a commendable 75.1 defensive grade with a 10.4 percent pass rush win rate. He excelled in Combine testing, running a scorching 4.83s 40-yard dash (97th percentile), 4.50s shuttle (88th percentile) and an incredible 33.5” vertical (95th percentile for a near perfect 9.89 Relative Athletic Score. Robinson’s on-field play finally caught up to his freaky traits last year, as he assaulted opposing blockers with a well-developed tool chest of pass rush moves and a ferocious bull rush. He plays a little high, exposing his chest and can overpursue at times, but Robinson has shown the toughness and aptitude to log high-leverage snaps at the next level.

Uncommitted four-star 2019 DE Ty Robinson said that he plans on taking official visits to Oregon, Nebraska and Cal.
Robinson (6'5/260) is pretty set on taking those trips, but his other two allotted officials remain to-be-determined. Florida, Arizona State, USC, Alabama and Utah are all serious contenders to land those final official visits. The Gilbert, Arizona, native ranks as the No. 3 prospect in the state, No. 187 overall in the 2019 class, on the 247Sports composite board. He’s hoping to sign with his future program come December, though he’ll be keeping his options open to extend into February depending on where his recruitment stands as the snow begins to fly.

Uncommitted four-star 2019 DE Ty Robinson will take official visits to Nebraska and Alabama over the next two weekends.
Robinson (6'5/260) has previously checked out Oregon and USC in official capacity. Over the summer, it was expected that Cal would likewise receive an official visit at some point, but that no longer appears to be in the cards. The Gilbert, Arizona, native will be in Lincoln this weekend when the Cornhuskers take on Michigan State before traveling to Tuscaloosa for Iron Bowl festivities on Nov. 24. On the 247Sports composite board, Robinson ranks as the No. 197 overall prospect in the 2019 class.

Nebraska signed four-star 2019 DE Ty Robinson.
Robinson was also considering Alabama, USC and Michigan State, but this was believed to be a head-to-head matchup between the Cornhuskers and Trojans. Huskers win. Robinson is ranked the 16th best defensive end in the class by 247 Sports, and the Gilbert, Arizona native ranks fifth among prospects in the state. It’s the sixth four-star commit so far for Scott Frost and his staff.
