Seahawks general manager John Schneider drafted Vannett with a third-round pick back in 2016 before trading him to the Steelers for a 2020 fifth-round pick in September 2019. Vannett has since played for eight more teams, including the Rams in 2025. He will compete for a roster spot in Seattle this summer. The Seahawks correspondingly waived CB Tyrone Broden, who was placed on the physically unable to perform list earlier this week. He could be re-signed by Seattle if he makes it through waivers.

Emmanwori, along with RB Kenny McIntosh and CB Tyrone Broden, were all placed on the PUP list but will be eligible to come off at any time. Emmanwori is reportedly dealing with an undisclosed injury, while McIntosh is recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in last year’s training camp. All three players are eligible to come off the PUP list at any time once the team deems them ready to participate in camp.

Broden’s (6'4/200) big play on the day came late in the third quarter when he and quarterback Matt McDonald connected on a 64-yard touchdown to give the Falcons a 28-10 lead at the half. Broden would connect with McDonald again in the fourth quarter on a 30-yard touchdown, as Broden has now posted two games of 110+ yards and two touchdowns on the season. Broden at the 3-6 Falcons will be on a bye next week, and return to host Toledo on November 10th.
