Franzoni claims downhill event at Alpine Ski WC
A new Alpine skiing star was born as Giovanni Franzoni, the 24-year-old from Manerba del Garda, Italy, won the fabled Hahnenkamm downhill with a time of 1:52.31 at the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup in Kitzbühel.
