Johnson (6'3"/190) is a pivotal commit for the Wolverines, as the Grosse Point, MI native is a crucial in-state target for UM. The talented corner is currently rated as the 11th overall recruit nationally and fifth overall cornerback from the 2022 prep cycle according to 247Sports. The rangy prospect comps to New England Patriots shutdown corner Stephon Gilmore, though he could grow out of the position as his frame fills out.
