    The Sun finalized their roster for the 2025 season on Thursday, with DeShields and Anderson being the final cuts. In the case of the former, her career accomplishments likely make Connecticut’s decision a surprising one. After missing the 2023 season with a knee injury, DeShields appeared in 32 games for the Chicago Sky in 2024, making 10 starts. As for Anderson, she was looking to work her way back into the WNBA after having last played an official game during the 2022 season. With the Sun recently signing veteran Bria Hartley, Anderson’s chances of making the team decreased.
