Braves signed 3B Yariel Gonzalez to a minor league contract.

Gonzalez slashed .276/.346/.473 with 17 home runs across 356 plate appearances over 92 games between Double-A Erie and Triple-A Toledo in the Tigers’ minor-league system last season. The 27-year-old corner infielder will open the impending 2022 campaign at Triple-A Gwinnett as organizational depth for the Braves.
