Mariners signed 3B Zach Green to a minor league contract.
Green appeared in eight games with the Mariners back in 2019. The 28-year-old infielder hit .214/.310/.407 with 15 round-trippers in 378 plate appearances last year at Triple-A Nashville in the Brewers’ system. He’ll augment the Mariners organizational infield depth entering the 2022 season.

Brewers signed 3B/1B Zach Green to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Green did not appear in a meaningful game during the condensed 2020 campaign, but he put up an impressive .282/.380/.659 batting line with 25 home runs in 72 games with the Triple-A affiliate of the Giants in 2019. The 26-year-old corner infielder will presumably get a shot to compete for a spot on the Brewers’ bench.

Zach Green walloped a three-run homer on Monday in the Giants’ loss to an Indians’ split-squad in Cactus League action.
Green blasted a three-run homer to left-center field -- his third round-tripper of the spring -- off Indians’ righty Nick Wittgren in the sixth inning. He also drew a pair of walks in the contest. The 26-year-old infielder is hitting a surreal .462 (6-for-13) with four extra-base hits in nine games this spring. He’s coming off a breakout campaign at Triple-A Sacramento in which he recorded a .282/.380/.659 triple-slash line with 25 home runs in 72 games. He’s a dark horse candidate to crack the Giants’ Opening Day roster and could offer some NL-only value this season. Keep him on your fantasy radar.

Giants recalled 3B Zach Green from Tirple-A Sacramento and placed him on the 60-day injured list with a hip impingement.
This was a way for the team to clear a 40-man roster slot for LHP Wandy Peralta, whom they claimed off waivers from the Reds in a corresponding move. Green made his major league debut this summer and went 2-for-14 in eight games. The 25-year-old former Phillies farmhand had a breakout campaign for Sacramento, slashing .282/.380/.659 with 25 home runs and 64 RBI in 72 games.

Zach Green went 2-for-3 with an RBI double in his MLB debut Sunday against the Mets.
Green started at third base and batted sixth in his debut, and he wasted little time making his presence felt. The 25-year-old singled in his first major league at-bat and did one better in his second, plating a run with an RBI double. The infielder was raking at Triple-A prior to his promotion, hitting .302/.402/.698 with 23 homers, and he’s an interesting NL-only add for fantasy purposes.

Phillies prospect 3B Zach Green was 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI on Sunday for Low-A Lakewood.
The 20-year-old got off to a slow start this season, batting .186/.272/.220 with two doubles over 15 games in April before landing on the disabled list for nearly two months. However, since returning to action on June 11, Green has batted .321/.355/.554 with three home runs, four doubles and 10 RBI in 15 games. The right-handed hitter has intriguing untapped power and a solid glove at the hot corner, but he’ll need to cut down on the strikeouts to enjoy success at more advanced levels.

The 24-year-old corner infielder has yet to appear in a game at the major league level.
