The deal includes $50 million at signing and $77 million in total guarantees. Walker, 25, has sacked opposing quarterbacks 29 times in regular season games over his four-year career. He banked four sacks last year, plus 42 quarterback pressures and a career-high 13.0 percent quarterback pressure rate. Fellow Jaguars EDGE Josh Hines-Allen is under contract through 2028. Today’s deal keeps the starting EDGE duo intact long-term.
  • FA Running Back
The unnamed individual is said to be someone “who has a say” in what the Cardinals do with the No. 3 overall pick in this year’s draft. McShay notes the Cardinals are also candidates to trade back a couple of spots to potentially draft Love, though “they still need an offensive tackle [and] they still need an EDGE.” Rotational players like former starter RB James Conner, who suffered a season-ending ankle injury last year, and free agent signee, RB Tyler Allgeier, crowd the Cardinals’ backfield. The combo could keep Love from handling an elite rookie season workload, but they are unlikely to prevent him from winning the starting role this summer. He would likely warrant RB2 treatment right away if the Cardinals were to draft him early in the first round.
  • McCollum entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Texans in 2022. He took the field for the first time in 2023 after being signed by the Eagles. The Raiders then nabbed him off waivers in August 2025. McCollum largely contributes as a special teams player, though he can help out as a run defender as well.
  • CLE Quarterback #2
Jackson said that he believes “there will be a true competition” between Sanders and Watson in camp, but adds that “the most direct path to the Browns escaping the Watson mess” is for Sanders to take the job and provide “at least league-average quarterback play.” Watson has failed to live up to the massive five-year, $230 million contract the Browns gave him in 2022, appearing in just 19 games and posting a pedestrian 3,365-19-12 line, with a 9-10 record as a starter. Sanders struggled himself as a rookie, throwing for 1,400-7-10 while completing 56.6 percent of his passes and struggling to avoid sacks — a major hole in his game that popped up throughout his college career. The Browns could still take a shot on a rookie QB in this month’s draft, as they currently hold two first-round picks and another pick in the second and third rounds. However, if they don’t use a Day 1 or Day 2 pick on a signal-caller, things could quickly shape up for Sanders to win the QB battle, despite the front office recently hyping Watson in recent weeks.
  • ATL General Manager
According to Rapoport, the Bears “have been lobbying” to receive compensation for losing Cunningham, who spent the last four seasons as their Assistant general manager prior to being hired by the Falcons. On Friday, the league said that the Bears will not receive any compensatory picks and that “the policy is designed to provide picks for the Primary Football Executive position. The League determined Mr. Cunningham did not fill that role with the Falcons as it is defined in the League rules.”
  • MIN Quarterback
The battle for QB1 will be between Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy, with Florio believing the competition between the two will “commence during preseason practices and games.” This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, but it lays to rest any assumptions that Murray will walk in as the unquestioned starter before camp. While we would expect Murray to ultimately win the job in runaway fashion, it sounds like McCarthy will be given every chance to prove he’s still the man for the job and a player worthy of the No. 10 overall pick the team used on him in 2024.
  • FA Quarterback #11
Garoppolo was linked to the Dolphins and Cardinals in early March, but both teams have brought new quarterbacks aboard since then. Per Atkins, the Rams’ “sights for a backup” have refocused on Garoppolo, now that the Raiders have signed QB Kirk Cousins. The Rams would reportedly “really would like an experienced former starter in that role.” Garoppolo spent the last two seasons in said role and turns 35 in November.
  • LV Quarterback #18
The Raiders’ presumed No. 1 overall pick, Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza, could end up challenging Cousins for the starting role this summer. For now, it appears as though Cousins is penciled in to break the huddle in Week 1. Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak prefaced today’s signing by publicly explaining the value in allowing a young quarterback to develop on the bench. If the Raiders add more offensive weapons via the 2026 NFL Draft, free agency and trades, Cousins could warrant matchup-based consideration as a fantasy starter.
  • The Cowboys possess the 12th and 20th overall selections. They field an elite offense and a defense that could use more personnel upgrades, having allowed the most points in the NFL last season. The front office traded for EDGE Rashan Gary, and signed S Jalen Thompson and DT Otito Ogbonnia thus far this offseason, but the unit still has more needs. Regardless, Schottenheimer said that “if the best player on the board is clearly an offensive player, then we’ll certainly discuss that, and more than likely” draft that player, knowing Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. The Cowboys’ offense is already set up for fantasy success, but adding another capable offensive lineman and/or another pass catcher can only help QB Dak Prescott put up points.
  • FA Defensive Tackle
Per McFadden, Green met with Raiders representatives after his impressive Pro Day showing last week. Green performed very well in the speed, agility and jumping drills. He also tied the Duke Pro Day bench press record with 36 reps. The Raiders representatives expressed their “love for his athleticism” during the meeting. He has also reportedly met with the Eagles, Bears, Steelers and Packers. Green spent 2022-2024 playing at Dartmouth before joining the Blue Devils last year. In 2025, he totaled 30 combined tackles, 11 solo tackles, four TFLs, 22 quarterback pressures and four sacks.
