    Panthers released CB A.J. Bouye.
Signed to a one-year deal last offseason, Bouye appeared in 10 games for the Panthers, starting seven, and broke up three passes while earning solid coverage marks from Pro Football Focus. The move cleared over $3.4 million in cap space for the Panthers.

Panthers declared CB A.J. Bouye, WR Shi Smith, LB Clay Johnston, DT Phil Hoskins, OG Michael Jordan, OG Deonte Brown and DE Yetur Gross-Matos inactive for Week 3 against the Texans.
Suspended the first two games of the season, Bouye is dealing with an undisclosed soft-tissue injury. The Panthers did not have to disclose it since they have yet to technically activate the corner. He should be ready for Week 4 with 10 more days rest.

CB A.J. Bouye’s deal with the Panthers is worth $7 million over two years.
The terms of the deal weren’t made available when the Panthers signed the former Bronco last week. Bouye, soon to be 30, will be suspended for the first two games of the 2021 season, but should work his way into Carolina’s starting lineup soon thereafter. The former Pro Bowler missed much of the 2020 season with a shoulder injury.

Panthers signed CB A.J. Bouye, formerly of the Broncos.
Bouye turns 30 this summer and still has two games left to serve on a six-game suspension. But when healthy and on the field, he remains an above-average cover corner on the boundary. With Rasul Douglas and Corn Elder off the roster, the Panthers needed a starter opposite Donte Jackson. Troy Pride and Rashaan Melvin will fill those roles with Bouye on suspension Weeks 1-2.

Free agent CB A.J. Bouye is visiting the Bengals.
Released by the Broncos last month, Bouye’s market is starting to heat up a bit. He visited the Raiders and left without a deal earlier this week and is now on to Cincinnati. Bouye would probably like to sign before the free-agent market opens Wednesday, so that he’s not competing with a boat load of other corners for jobs. The Bengals have a plethora of corners scheduled to hit free agency this week, including William Jackson, Mackensie Alexander, and LeShaun Sims.

Free agent CB A.J. Bouye left his visit with the Raiders without a contract.
The Raiders were Bouye’s only known visit since his early February release. The 29-year-old missed nine games to injuries and suspension last year, and is suspended the first two games of 2021. Bouye’s market should be limited to one-year, prove-it offers.

Free agent CB A.J. Bouye visited the Raiders Monday.
It’s Bouye’s first official visit since he was released by the Broncos in February. The 29-year-old appeared in seven games in his lone season in Denver due to multiple injuries and suspension, the latter which he still has two games left to serve at the start of next year. Although he was initially owed $13 million on the final year of his deal before being cut, Bouye should expect less than half of that on the open market.

    Broncos released CB A.J. Bouye.
Owed $13 million in the final year of his deal for 2021, the Broncos now clear over $13.2 million in cap space with the move. In his only season with Denver, Bouye appeared in just seven games due to a shoulder injury, concussion, and six-game suspension, which he still has two games left to serve at the start of next year. Bouye will be 30 years old ahead of next season.

NFL suspended Broncos CB A.J. Bouye six games for violating the league’s PED policy.
Bouye will serve his suspension this week and miss the first two games of 2021. His situation is tied to Will Fuller and Bradley Roby’s, who were also suspended for six games. Bouye started all seven games he was healthy for this year, playing 87% of snaps. The Broncos could save $13.4 million from releasing Bouye this offseason.

NBC Denver’s Mike Klis reports Broncos CB A.J. Bouye is facing suspension for violating the league’s PED policy.
Per Klis, Bouye’s situation is connected to Will Fuller and Bradley Roby’s. They both received six-game bans. The players are saying someone gave them bum supplements. Acquired from the Jaguars in March, Bouye had made only seven appearances this season because of concussion and shoulder issues. He has been an every-down starter when active, earning middling grades from Pro Football Focus. It is unclear when his ban might become official.
