    Panthers released WR Aldrick Robinson.
The 30-year-old deep threat caught 17 balls in 14 games for the Vikings last season. “Lord Aldrick” should have enough juice left in his legs to get another look elsewhere.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Panthers signed WR Aldrick Robinson, formerly of the Vikings.
Dubbed “Lord Aldrick” by former Rotoworld All-Pro Adam Levitan, Robinson is a 5'10/185 deep threat who has seemed to produce wherever he lands. With the Vikings last year, Robinson caught a career-high five touchdowns on 17 catches for 231 yards. He has 14 career touchdowns on 86 grabs with five different teams and has averaged 16.5 yards-per-catch. Robinson joins a wideout group that currently features D.J. Moore, Curtis Samuel, Chris Hogan, Rashad Ross, Jarius Wright, and Torrey Smith, among others.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Aldrick Robinson contributed two catches for 33 yards and two touchdowns on two targets Thursday in the Vikings’ Week 4 loss to the Rams.
Lord Aldrick only saw two looks from Kirk Cousins on Thursday night, but he made both of them count by scoring a pair of touchdowns. He capped the Vikings’ opening drive with a 16-yard grab over Marcus Peters, then came down with another touchdown on a 17-yard strike from Cousins with just over eight minutes remaining in the first half. Considering he played just 8-of-74 offensive snaps on Thursday night, Adam Levitan’s man crush won’t be a realistic fantasy option next week against the Eagles.
  • FA Wide Receiver
    Vikings signed WR Aldrick Robinson.
The Lord has a new castle. By many measures, Laquon Treadwell has been the worst receiver in the league this season, so it is possible Robinson sees some snaps in three-receiver sets right off the bat. Robinson has lid-lifting speed, speed other teams won’t be able to devote proper resources to as they defend Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen.
  • FA Wide Receiver
The Redskins promoted WR Aldrick Robinson from the practice squad late last season to to keep him from signing with the Jaguars.
The Skins are intrigued by Robinson’s 4.43 speed even if he failed to get behind defensive backs in practices last season. If the Redskins end up keeping Santana Moss, Robinson will likely have to battle Terrence Austin and Brandon Banks for the final receiver spot.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Redskins promoted WR Aldrick Robinson from their practice squad.
Robinson was the last remaining Redskins’ draft pick still on their practice squad. Size is a major concern at 5'10/184, but there’s some slot potential for the sixth-round pick.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Redskins WR Aldrick Robinson sustained a concussion during pregame warmups Sunday.
Robinson collided with SS Brandon Meriweather’s knee and was unconscious for about a minute. It sounds like a severe concussion. Meriweather, meanwhile, re-injured his knee during the incident and is headed for a Monday MRI.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Aldrick Robinson is starting over Leonard Hankerson versus the Panthers in Week 9.
This is not a surprise. Labeling Robinson one of the fastest players in the NFL, coach Mike Shanahan suggested mid-week that he would be in for an increased role going forward. The disappointing Hankerson is unplayable in fantasy leagues while Robinson is a risky flex option. Redskins inactives: QB Rex Grossman, S Brandon Meriweather, WR Pierre Garcon, DE Doug Worthington, CB Richard Crawford, OG Adam Gettis, and OL Maurice Hurt.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
Speaking of Pierre Garcon’s (foot) chances of playing versus the Eagles this week, a source tells ESPN Radio 980 “I think he will go.”
It’s been trending that way for a couple of days now. The Redskins conceded that Garcon is nowhere near 100 percent, but he’s been running and cutting at close to full speed in limited practices. Garcon should be owned in 12-team leagues as a stretch-run flier, but Week 11 is shaping up as a “prove it” game. Garcon is too risky to start as a WR3 option until he shows that he can be effective on the injured foot. Leonard Hankerson and Aldrick Robinson figure to lose snaps with Garcon back.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
Redskins declared WR Pierre Garcon (foot) inactive for Sunday’s game against the Rams.
Aldrick Robinson will start in Garcon’s place at the explosive “X” receiver spot. Other Redskins inactives: QB Rex Grossman, S Brandon Meriweather, S Jordan Pugh, G Josh LeRibeus, G Adam Gettis and NT Chris Baker.
