The injuries are piling up for this Pacers squad, and they now just have one true big active in Amida Brimah. Indiana plays again on Saturday, so hopefully Sampson is ready to roll for in that one for this very short-handed team.

Indiana’s injury report is as lengthy as it gets with four players in the frontcourt banged up, so Brimah may be asked to pick up some minutes right away. The 27-year-old center made 10 appearances in the G League this season with 8.0 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocks.

He’ll likely head to the G-League, or it’s possible he’ll take his talents overseas.

Brimah is a 7'0" center from Ghana who has played for the Spurs’ G League over the course of two seasons. He played for the Nets during Summer League in Vegas, averaging 12.5 points on 65% shooting with 4.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks in six games. He’s unlikely to crack the Pacers’ roster with Myles Turner, Domantas Sabonis, T.J. Leaf and others all manning the frontcourt.

Neither of these guys are expected to make the team.
