    Seahawks released DE Benson Mayowa.
Assuming Mayowa isn’t a post-June 1 cut, the release will free up $1.45 million in cap space for Seattle. The long-time rotational EDGE played 510 snaps last year and had just one sack, but has been decent against the run in his career. He’ll turn 31 in August.

Seahawks re-signed DE Benson Mayowa to a two-year, $8.8 million contract.
It includes $4.6 million guaranteed in the first year, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Seattle remains in the edge rusher market, but at least locked in their 6.0-sack artist. The Seahawks have now signed the 30-year-old to two-straight one-year contracts. Mayowa has sack totals of 4.0, 7.0, and 6.0 in his three most recent seasons after a slow start to his career. He’ll compete with L.J. Collier for 2021 snaps.

Seahawks signed DE Benson Mayowa, formerly of the Raiders, to a one-year $3 million contract.
Mayowa set a new career-high with 7.0 sacks last season in Oakland. He’s a productive rotational pass rusher, but the Seahawks likely aren’t done addressing the position, especially with Jadeveon Clowney reportedly dropping his asking price. Mayowa, a former undrafted free agent, has double-digit quarterback hits in back-to-back seasons. He’ll be 29 years old this upcoming season.

Cowboys signed DE Benson Mayowa, formerly of the Raiders, to a three-year, $8.25 million contract.
The Raiders declined to match the offer sheet from the Cowboys and will receive no compensation. Mayowa has just two sacks in 30 career games, but the Cowboys apparently believe he can be a factor in a bigger role. Dallas remains extremely thin at defensive end.

ESPN’s Todd Archer reports the Cowboys are interested in Raiders restricted free agent DE Benson Mayowa.
The Raiders extended an original-round tender to Mayowa, who entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Idaho. The low tender means the Raiders will not get any compensation if they decline to match an offer sheet. The Cowboys are desperate for help on the defensive line after striking out thus far in free agency. Mayowa has two sacks in 30 career games.

Cowboys signed restricted free agent DE Benson Mayowa to a three-year, $8.25 million offer sheet.
The Raiders now have five days to match. Tendered at the original round level, Oakland won’t get any compensation if Mayowa walks.

Restricted free agent DE Benson Mayowa is visiting the Cowboys on Friday.
Mayowa logged 381 snaps as an outside linebacker last season. If the Cowboys sign him to an offer sheet, the Raiders will have five days to match. Oakland won’t be compensated if he walks.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Cowboys will sign restricted free agent DE Benson Mayowa to an offer sheet on Friday.
The offer is pending a physical. Because Oakland extended an original round tender, the Raiders won’t receive compensation for Mayowa if they fail to match his offer. Mayowa would be a consolation prize for Dallas after failing to land Adrian Clayborn, Andre Branch and Chris Long in the first wave of free agency.

Raiders signed DE Benson Mayowa, formerly of the Cardinals, to a one-year contract.
Including incentives, the deal is worth over $3 million. This will be a homecoming for Mayowa, who spent his 2014 and 2015 campaigns with Oakland before defecting to Dallas in free agency the following year. Now on his third team in as many seasons, Mayowa logged 38 tackles with four sacks over 550 defensive snaps for Arizona last year while earning PFF’s No. 19 grade among 4-3 defensive ends. He’s made a decent career for himself since going undrafted out of Idaho in 2013.

Raiders claimed DE Benson Mayowa off waivers from the Seahawks.
A second-year undrafted free agent out of Idaho, Mayowa appeared in two games for the Super Bowl champions as a rookie, managing 24 snaps on defense. At 6-foot-3, 252 pounds, he’s undersized.
