Vaughn Dalzell breaks down why he’s backing Xavier’s Jack Nunge’s O/U 13.5 Points Prop at Seton Hall, plus Grand Canyon vs Seattle on senior night.

Jack Nunge O/U 13.5 Points vs. Seton Hall

Let’s go to the Big East and focus on Xavier’s Jack Nunge and his points prop at Seton Hall.

Nunge dealt with foul trouble in the earlier meeting versus Seton Hall. Nunge recorded four points and four fouls on 0-for-5 from the field in 26 minutes of action.

His teammate Zach Fremantle went for 23 points on 10-of-16. However, Freemantle has been out for the last six games and Nunge has taken over.

Without Freemantle in the lineup, Nunge has scored 23, 21, 14, 10, 18 and 12 points during that six-game stretch for 16.3 points per game.

Nunge is 4-2 to the Over 13.5 points in that stretch on 38-of-68 from the field (55.8%), 10-of-21 from three (47.6%) and 12-of-16 from the free-throw line (75%). The 7-foot senior is hot right now.

In previous outings, Seton Hall allowed UConn to shoot 60% from two and Creighton to hit 62.5% in two of the past four games. The Pirates also allow a 28.8% from-throw rate for Big East opponents when visiting Seton Hall, so conference teams get to the line often.

Xavier scores nearly 57% of its points in Big East play from two (3rd) and makes 54.3% from two and 39.6% from three on the road in conference action, ranking top two in both.

Nunge has played 34 or more minutes in four of the last six games and on the season at 30 or more minutes played, he is 13-4 to the Over 13.5 Points (76.4%).

I like this bounce back spot for Nunge after his four-point effort earlier this season against Seton Hall and no Freemantle in the lineup this time around.

I played Nunge Over 13.5 Points at -125 odds on DraftKings and would go to 14.5 for 1 unit.

Pick: Jack Nunge Over 13.5 Points (1u)

Seattle at Grand Canyon (-6.5): O/U 141.0

Let’s head over to the WAC for the final play of the night.

Grand Canyon is looking to overcome a devastating loss at Seattle earlier this season.

The Antelopes of Grand Canyon had the game wrapped up with a little over six minutes remaining before the Seattle Redhawks went on a 16-2 run over the final six minutes to win that game 63-58.

Grand Canyon has scored 76, 94 and 111 points since that loss. The Antelopes are the No. 1 offensive efficiency team in WAC play (112.4) and ranks top three in offensive rebounding percentage (32.2%), three-point percentage (39.8%), two-point percentage (52.2%) and free-throw percentage (74.5%).

Seattle has lost two-straight games entering this contest by 21 and 9 points. Grand Canyon is 11-3 at home this season and 6-2 in conference play with an incredible 45.4% from three and 73 or more points in eight WAC home contests.

The Redhawks allow conference opponents to hit 39.5% from three in seven road games and only make 28.4% of triples themselves, plus 44.4% from two-point range. This is Grand Canyon’s revenge game.

It’s senior night for the Antelopes and since 2013, Grand Canyon has won every season on senior night, taking those games by 10.2 points per game.

I took the Antelopes -6.5 (-110) and would go out to -7.

Pick: Grand Canyon -6.5 (1u)
